New Website, New Work, New Projects.

Hey all,

just filling you in on some of my recent activities.

I've just finished updating my website, joshrichter.com. i have some new work up that i haven't yet posted here, so if you'd like to take some time to check that out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'd like to announce that i am officially the full-time artist for Robert Goad's book "The Struggle." I have finished nearly a third of the artwork for the book, and things are coming along very smoothly. Hoping to see a finalized product by the end of the year, meaning we should be having talks with the publisher early 2010!

My band Cassius Clay Vs. The Robotron and I have recorded some demos and put a couple of them up on our myspace page HERE. We will post a couple more within the next week or so. the demos aren't anything special, but it will give you an idea of what we sound like. We're working on some new material and preparing to go into a professional studio to record our first EP. Our original goal was to have the EP released on, or around, Thanksgiving. If all goes well, that deadline still seems like a reality.

Also, I've been working for the past few months on a solo musical project called Pixel Parade. I'm pleased to announce that I am releasing my first album entitled "Echoes In Color." It will be a 3 disc set comprised of 33 tracks! I'm going to include some limited edition art prints along with the music, and will be hand-designing the packaging as well. it's looking like this will be coming out early December. More on that later. in the meantime, you can check out some of that music at my myspace page here.

I will soon be posting several new art pieces on here, so look forward to that. I am sorry for the lack of activity, life has been busy lately.

thanks! the photo manipulations are part of my Photography series "the Passionate Detox." They are entirely photographic. every part of them was made using photography.

Oh. My. God. Thats amazing! Its really interesting how you replaced the boring heads of humans and made true art! I had a Photography series called "White defeats black" but I cant access the photo's for some reason... I just psot up old photography and try to change it up a bit. I only put up photos that have some inspiration and story behind it. How bout' you?
